Newmarket was settled along the banks of the Lamprey River and Great Bay to take advantage of the excellent water power and proximity to a trade route out to the Piscataqua River and beyond. It began as a mill town producing lumber and textiles, and has continued to grow and evolve into a small town with many local businesses and high tech companies. It still has its small mill town feel, but with many of the advantages of being adjacent to a college town and all of the resources found on campus. Due to its proximity to the Lamprey and Great Bay there is a huge interest in the environment and conservation efforts, with much of the open space dedicated to recreational purposes.

Madbury is a small town located in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire between Durham and Dover. With a population of only about 1600, it is best described by its rolling fields, horse farms, and country roads. A true rural setting at its best!

UNH is located in Durham only a few minutes to the ocean and an hours drive to the mountains. This University has a small liberal arts college feel but all the resourses and opportunities that a large University offers. With about 10,000 undergraduate students the Durham community comes alive in the fall with the beginning of classes. As students move to town there is always the need for off campus housing and rentals. Many Graduate students as well as parents of ungraduates are looking for rentals or to purchase.
